eatyourkimchi is a youtube channel featuring a husband and wife duo who talks about South Korean lifestyle, music, and lots of other interesting things.
They're from Canada, but now live in Seoul and basically bring South Korea to you in a way.
Recently they uploaded a video that really made me think.
Right now, only 40 miles north of them is North Korea and right now the people living there aren't counting how many presents are under their tree with their names on them, or doing last minute Christmas shopping for those few people they accidentally forgot, they're struggling to survive.
In North Korea thousands of North Koreans will be put into labor camps just for using the internet (or trying to use the internet) or for watching Korean dramas or movies like Full House, Boys Over Flowers, or Heirs which many people around the world watch in leisure.
80 people were recently publicly shot and hung for just watching Korean dramas in front of friends and family.
These people might have had their children watching them, or a wife who just found out she was with child when they were killed.

The labor camps aren't a joke ether, they're THREE TIMES THE SIZE OF WASHINGTON D.C.!

Right now there is a charity called Liberty in North Korea, who helps North Koreans get a better shot at life, and frees them from the North Korean government so they might get to do some of the things we take for granted everyday.
You don't have to pay money (though I'm sure it would help), but just spread the word.
If the video eatyourkimchi recently put out www.youtube.com/watchv=I9HDVoi…
makes it to the top 10 in the Project for Awesome campaign Liberty in North Korea will get thousands of dollars for their cause.
All you need to do is tell your family and friends, like the video, retweet it. Just spend half of the time you use drooling over One Direction or Twilight, "studying" for a big test or whatever you do and spread this all over the internet.
This charity, Liberty in North Korea, really makes a difference and really does improve people's lives.
I know there are thousands of charities out their that you might think is better, but you don't have to pay any money. Just 10 minutes of your time might allow the next Martin Luther King Jr. or whatever your idol or role model is, to have the chance to make a difference and live life to the fullest.
Spread the word and make a difference.
