FireBeautiful, yet so deadly.
Artists try to capture it.
But it is not the same.
Writers try to write about it.
But not even the best can describe it's deadly beauty.
How it dances in the dark.
And flickers on and off.
How it nothing will match the strange beauty of fire.
And how it warms you like the Sun.
But if you get to close you'll get burned.
It is the fury of mother nature.
But it is also a gift from God.
It can kill you.
It can be the one thing that saved your life.
The phoenix was born from it's ashes.
And it is the mysterious dragon's breath.
It forged mighty weapons.
That brings suffering, death, and destruction.
But also brings new life.
And no matter what we do we will not be able to show fire's pure beauty.
Or its deadly power.
No camera will truly capture it.
No artist will truly draw it.
No artist will truly paint it.
No writer will truly write it.
Because it is impossible.
We are not that advanced yet.
We may never be advanced enough...
To capture this strange thing.

StarsThe stars twinkled brightly in the night sky.
Big balls of fire, but so small looking here.
My dad said stars are one of a kind.
That there's nothing else like them.
You know the sun is just a star close up?
And if all those stars in the night sky have planets like ours.
I wonder if the scientists will run out of names.
Or start naming them ABC1, ABC2, ABC3, etc.
I'd feel sorry for a planet named ABC1 or a star named Sun1235468.
Well we don't know do we?
Stars were always a big mystery to me.
How something shine so brightly in such a dark background?
Like hope in a place that reeks of death.
Well apparently stars do.
They really are one of a kind.

Hopes and DreamsI have kept my hopes and dreams in a box.
Underneath my bed.
Because I have learned that because of these things you can get hurt.
People tell you, you can't write.
That you can't sing.
That you can't dance.
Why do they say this?
Because they are a lose cause that just want to make themselves feel better.
I take my hopes and dreams out of the box slowly and steadily.
So I can face my challenges one at a time.
One day I might let them all out.
But I'm not ready yet.
I will face all my challenges eventually.
I know it is inevitable.
I know it is bound to happen.
But no matter what anyone says.
I will write.
I will sing.
I will dance.
And no one is going to stop me.

My InspirationMy inspiration comes from everywhere.
Sad matters.
Hard matters.
Friends.
Family.
Hard times.
Happy times.
I can't really chose what my inspiration will be.
For all I know it could be poop.
Like gay people can't help being gay and red walls can't help being red walls.
Inspiration is everywhere.
All you have to do is look for it.

My DreamsMy dreams, I guess you could say, are pretty big.
Things, people say won't happen.
But didn't they say that a man would not walk on the moon.
Didn't they say women would not be able to vote.
That black people would not be able to have equal rights.
Those people got their dreams.
You got your dream.
So why don't you let me have mine?
You said that I'd never be able publish a book because I don't have a college degree.
But you've never seen how I write.
How, unlike when I talk, I can make words flow easily.
Show things in a way never shown before.
So why don't you and your little friends, leave and let me be.
And let me dream my own, precious dreams.

JudgementJudge me all you want.
Pity me.
Hate me.
Cry for me.
Love me.
Like me.
Ridicule me.
Curse at me.
Call me names.
Because I don't care anymore.
I won't let you change me anymore.
Because you've changed me too much already.
So, I could be your 'perfect friend'.
Admiration had blinded me then.
But I won't let your petty emotions change me anymore.
Judge me all you want.
But you won't ever change me.
